Whether it’s a birthday, family gathering, chocolate gift boxes, or a calm evening with a hot coffee, chocolate chip pretzels are a suitable companion and super-easy to prepare. That sweet and salty combo is one of the most interesting mixtures for our taste buds; add to it the crunchiness of the pretzels to become a mouth-watering treat.

This is the easiest way to prepare the pretzels, with little ingredients too. Of course, for better quality and taste, you need to buy chocolates online to get premium chocolate with fast delivery. I prefer getting semi-sweet chocolates for this recipe, and if you’re having a hard time deciding on the best variety to get, I recommend checking out Chocolak to buy chocolates online as their store is home to some of the best products and let you order chocolates online and have them delivered to your door.

Ingredients

  • 18 pretzel twists (preferably of a larger size) or pretzel rods
  • 20 grams of unsalted butter
  • 200 grams of semi-sweet chocolate( a recommended brand isAntica Gianduia Fiorentina) you can purchase these chocolates online from Chocolak
  • Optional crushed nuts or assorted colored sprinkles for decoration; it looks really nice when placed in chocolate gift boxes.

Procedure

  • 1

Prepare a baking sheet by using wax paper or parchment on it.

  • 2

Place the Antica Gianduia chocolate in the microwave for no more than 30 seconds. Now add the butter and place it in the microwave until the mixture of butter and chocolate is smooth. Remember not to overheat the chocolate, so melt it at short intervals.

  • 3

Take the pretzels and submerge it into the chocolate mixture until it is covered. Leave it for a few seconds and pull it out using a fork, making sure that any extra chocolate dripping is falling in the bowl and not going to waste.

  • 4

After you’ve dipped all the pretzels, place them on the baking sheet and sprinkle any additional add-ons you like on them now.

  • 5

Place the baking sheet in the fridge for at least 20 minutes before consumption. Once preserved in an air-tight container, these pretzels will last for up to 2 weeks.
